We hereby present you with a very beautiful French Louis XVI sconces. They are antique, from about 1860. It was made from gilded bronze and it still has its original 24-carat fire gilded bronze, of very heavy quality. The items were professionally cleaned. One of the photos shows them before they were cleaned and other photos show them after they were cleaned professionally. They kept their authentic antique gold finish. They are very richly decorated as well.

These items have been re-wired recently and work perfectly on any electrical circuit.

The quality of the maker can really be observed when looking at the rich and fine decorations along the stems, as well as the flowery and leave-like patters. The lively way in which the leaves are wrapped around the base of the items, the details that decorate even the base of the light sockets: all signs of truly breath-taking artistry. Also the two eagles necks and heads that are to be found between the two lights are of a stunning quality. On top of the item you can see a fruit basket. Very nice details. They are also unique in the fact that they carry two light bulbs rather than candles. This makes them extra romantic and luxurious. The two abliques were screwed onto their original and authentic wooden plates for easy adjustment on the wall. You can take those off too if you prefer. We left it this way because it is authentic.

The shades were made from silk. They are new and of a very high quality. They are French too.

The measurements of these items are: 23.5 inch (60 cm) high x 14 inch (35 cm) wide x 6 inch (15 cm) deep.
