A beautiful handmade set of two Bergere / easy- chairs in French Louis XVI Style. The frame is dated around 1900's. The handmade beech frame is beautifully but very chique decorated with handcrafted details. Our team has recently replaced the filling and the padding. They have refinished the frame in a gold leaf finish with an antique look. They have re-upholstered the set in a beautiful blue damask fabric. Damask is a mix of cotton and silk materials and a floral pattern . Beautifully and professionally done.
The look of the set has been remain antique but due to the re-gilding and the re-upholstering the set looks fresh again and is ready to use.
The measurements of the bergere/ easy chairs are about:
CM: 77 cm wide x 57 cm deep x 115 cm high. The seat height is about 51 cm.
INCH: 30 inch wide x 22 inch deep x 45 inch high. Seat height is about 20 inch.
