Antique French Silver Plated Coupe Decorative Piece. Original antique, heavy quality.
This is a beautiful antique French silver plated bowl from the 19th century. It is called a coupe with a lid. This item was created very beautifully and it evokes a really luxurious style. It is solid and of a very heavy quality. We had it cleaned professionally recently.
The shape is quite unique for this kind of coupe—it is very decorative and stylish. Even the handles on both the left, right and top look nice. They were decorated with grape leaves.
The legs were also nicely decorated. One of the sides has a stamp of a bird on it.
This beautiful item is normally used for serving bonbons or fruit to guests on the table, but is also a real eye-catcher with the lid closed as portrayed on the photos.
