The set consists of a sofa with 4 bergere chairs . Very beautiful high heavy quality sofa set.
Our team has re-finished the frame with a finish of gold leaf a couple of months ago. The frame is made from beech wood and has many beautiful handmade decorations on the frame. All in floral shapes.
They have also re-upholstered the set with a beautiful high quality velvet in beautiful green colour. The seat of the sofa and the seat of the chairs are upholstered in tufted style.
The sides and back of the set are upholstered with the same green velvet but no in solid style. The back rest of the sofa is upholstered with a beautiful French scenery. Typical 19th century image that shows dancing men and woman in a ball room in a castle. The back of the chairs are upholstered with a scenery of a dancing couple ion a French garden . Also typical 19th century.
