An impressive 19th-century French Louis XVI–style vitrine sideboard dating to circa 1860–1880, combining richly aged mahogany and rosewood with bronze decoration, curved glass panels and an original marble top.

The cabinet displays the refined symmetry and balanced proportions associated with Louis XVI design. Its warm brown wood tones have developed a beautiful natural patina, while gilt-bronze mounts and classical neoclassical ornamentation add elegance and architectural definition.

Two glazed front doors are complemented by curved glass side panels, allowing displayed objects to be viewed from several angles. Inside, one display shelf provides space for porcelain, silver, crystal, clocks, decorative objects or other collectibles.

The interior is lined with traditional French-style silk fabric featuring a Fleur-de-Lis pattern, adding a refined decorative backdrop to the display area.

The cabinet retains its original marble top, displaying attractive natural veining and a polished surface that contrasts beautifully with the dark wood and bronze details. The original brass lock and key are also present and functional.
