Proud to present this Louis XVI sofa that we have bought in Monaco. Handmade around 1900 from beech wood. Beautiful decorated frame with flowers and re-finished in an antique gold leaf finish.
Re- Upholstered with blue velvet, in tufted style at the seat and solid style at the rest of the sofa. The sides at the inside are upholstered in plissé (folded) style.
At the middle of the back rest there is a beautiful oval medallion with an image on blend of silk and cotton. It is an image that shows 3 women in the 19th century that are chatting and having fun together. Their clothes are hair are typical for the 19th century.
Our team has used materials in very high quality to re-finish and re-upholster this sofa. durable materials so you will enjoy it for a long time.
The small reversible cushions visible on the pictures are coming with the sofa as present.
