Settee Sofa in French Louis XVI in Velvet With Scenery

Very proud to present a sofa that has been made round 1950's. We have bought it in a villa in Nice, the South of France.
The frame is handmade of beech and it has been re-finished in antique gold finish recently by our specialised team in Europe. It is really beautiful and rich decorated with handcrafted flowers. Made very fine and our team has re-finished it with utmost precision so the details remained clearly visible. They have also re-upholstered the sofa recently with very high quality velvet in tan colour. The seat is upholstered in tufted style and it has new durable padding and filling.
The back is upholstered with a blend of silk with cotton fabric with a beautiful nature scenery on it. You see people that are wearing typical 19th century clothes and their hairs is also from that time. You also see a couple of animals that are standing and lying with the people. A very friendly image that shows a clear friendship between people and animals.
The sofa is very sturdy, comfortable and ready for every day usage for a long period of time.
The two small cushions visible on the pictures are coming with the sofa.

CM: 130 cm wide x 105 cm high x 60 cm deep. The seat height is about 48 cm high.
INCH: 51 inch wide x 41 inch high x 23.5 inch deep. The seat height is about 19 inch high.
